Our class is the first in the El Paso Independent School District to teach students how to fly drones and use them in a variety of career fields! Our class focuses on introducing students to the world of aviation through drones and the rules and regulations pertaining to drone flight here in the United States.

To obtain your license you must:

 

  1. Be at least 16 years old

  2. Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language. 

  3. Be in a physical and mental condition that would not interfere with the safe operation of an sUAS.

  4. Pass the initial aeronautical knowledge test at an  FAA-approved knowledge testing center (KTC)

  5. Pass a background check by the Transportation Security Administration (this is done automatically when you submit your application for a Remote Pilot Certificate).
